The free license is funded by broker rebates, so it only works on a Vantage or VT Markets account opened through the IB link below. Work through the steps in order, then submit the form after your MT5 account is ready.

Pick a broker and register through the IB link
Either broker works. The link tags your account to the IB code that funds the free license. If you already have an account, use the Change IB guide and wait for broker approval.
If you already have a Vantage or VT Markets account, open the Change IB guide and wait for broker approval before requesting activation.
Finish identity verification
Upload your ID and proof of address inside your selected broker portal and wait for approval. Verification has to clear before the account can trade or be licensed.
Open an MT5 cent account
Inside the broker portal, create the trading account itself. Choose MetaTrader 5 and a cent account type — it lets you run XAUUSD with a smaller deposit while the grid still has room to work.

Why is the free license tied to these two brokers?
It is paid for by the IB rebate on that account. Without the rebate there is nothing funding the license, which is why an account opened outside the link — or with any other broker — cannot be activated.
What invitation or referral code should I enter?
For Vantage, enter WKiXD1iN. For VT Markets, enter MD8clZNs. Use the matching registration link shown in Step 1 so the broker receives the correct IB information.
Which one should I choose, Vantage or VT Markets?
Both run the same EA on the same terms. Vantage is the broker used for the live proof account on the home page. Pick VT Markets if Vantage is not available where you live, or if you already prefer their platform and funding methods.
Can I move an existing account under the IB link?
You can submit an IB-transfer request to your broker, but approval depends on the broker and your account status. Follow the correct instructions on the Change IB page.
How long does activation take?
Activation is manual and depends on when your details are matched against the IB list. Send the message once and wait for the reply rather than resending.
Can I run the free license on a second account later?
No. Free access is bound to one eligible IB-linked MT5 account number on the server. For an account without an IB requirement, choose the $69 single license. For more accounts, choose the 5-account license.
Do I have to deposit before activation?
The account has to be verified and open. Deposit at least 20,000 USC before running the EA, otherwise the grid has no room and the equity kill-switch may trigger early.
